‘Oko’a Farms has come a long way over the past decade! Speaking on their behalf, we’ve grown from several tillable acres to 56. We’ve expanded from one lone farmers market to a permanent establishment in the community. And now, we have a storefront and kitchen open 7 days a week!
Thankfully, we continue to maintain a presence at the Wailea Village farmer’s market. With the support of PGF volunteers, we help keep Okoa’s overhead costs (and prices) down.
We are proud to showcase our own harvest, alongside the produce and value-adds from our island ‘Ohana. Incredibly, we have featured fresh food from another 144 local growers and neighborhood orchards!
Expanding community food access through the farm store has been the guiding vision. We are honored to have become a fixture on Maui by doing just that. Ryan and Sal embody the saying “a rising tide lifts all boats.”

We have weathered many storms and losses from the Covid quarantine to the Maui Wildfires. Now, I am inviting YOU to support as we burst into a new phase of growth and access for the community.
With the newly acquired unit adjacent to our Makawao storefront, we are poised to unlock even more potential to serve Maui.
The storefront expansion widens our reach! With more space, we can add hot food, a salad bar and even more specialty offerings. It will improve the customer experience and showcase even more diversity of the finest local foods and products.
