Meet ParaGenius Foundation Leadership

Dr. Carolyn Dean MD ND - Founder

Carolyn is a career doctor, naturopath, medical researcher, author, and CEO of two wellness brands – New Capstone (a Research Organization) and RnA Reset (providing a wellspring of proprietary supplements).

Sally Dean - Management Consultant

Sally is an energetic, loyal, and innovative team player, providing experience in consulting and key funding landscape analysis for PGF. Sally has provided over 800 volunteer hours to organic food production and food distribution efforts on Maui. Her skills empower the team to identify viable funding partnerships available to our emerging non-profit. Her experience and love for volunteering with the community serves to expand our outreach potential.

Eric Peterson - Director, Project Management & Grant Initiatives

Eric has been with ParaGenius since their inception as a 501(c)(3). Prior to PGF, Eric served as a business development consultant for ‘Oko’a Farms, supporting their transition from farmers market to brick-and-mortar business model. He has served in a leadership role with a Haiku educational charity for the past three years and holds a BA in Communication. With two PGF grant awards under his belt, he is eager to harness his communication and organizational skills to bring further benefit to the Maui ‘Ohana.

And here on Maui, there is a far more volatile food system than you would expect from a place with a temperate climate and a bustling tourist economy. ParaGenius is my way of inviting additional hands to strengthen our food system through supporting organic farmers."
