Family farmers provide around 80% of the food grown in the world, forming the backbone of global food security.

Maui imports up to 90% of its food, yet it has some of the most dynamic climate diversity on the planet.

At the same time, farmers are saddled with high debt, thus unable to bring greater efficiency to their operations.
